Online Reservation Software

Himadventures-Comments - Sat, 10/08/2011 - 05:29

In reply to Train ticket booking in India, Online-Offline services:

Online Reservation Software can make the difference in travel agency growth or decline. Travel companies work on small margins and efficient online reservation software is the lifeblood of travel companies. While tourists have visions of up, up and away, travel agencies have their eyes on the bottom line and how online reservation software can increase profits.

Many rapes, killings in Goa

Himadventures-Comments - Sat, 10/08/2011 - 05:29

In reply to Russian kid raped in Goa- Threat of travel advisory:

This is not first time and I am sure will not be last either when Goa seen such bad name among tourism. THere is strong lobby which handles nudity , sex and drugs in Goa and this is decades old setup.

Many rapes and other crimes goes unreported because people involved had their own cozy reasons for not to report to police- but those who dare to come out- even they are discouraged because then onus is on police to solve the case.

Example for many

In reply to Himachal villagers take up paragliding as an occupation:

I dot see why this could not be an example for all who are living in mountains. Not only terror struck North East but mountain and hilly states like Maharashtra and Karnataka can also learn something from it.

Mountaineering, trekking can not be stopped in India.

Himadventures-Comments - Sat, 10/08/2011 - 05:29

Unless India is not on war with pakistan or china. ON one hand indians are projecting trekking to Siachen and on other hand we see voice for stopping trekking and climbing in himalayas ?

I think we should not worry much- such voices do raise in india and no one takes them seriously.

One of the best area to trek in Uttarakhand

Himadventures-Comments - Sat, 10/08/2011 - 05:29

In reply to Nanda Devi Sanctuary - Outer Nanda Devi Sanctuary area:

This region can be combined with ROOPKUND + OUTER NANDA DEVI SANCTUARY but this for those who afford such a long trekking strech in mountains but worth spending time and money.
